What the Watch Compares
On each shoot day the watch re-checks the forecast every 30 minutes by default and compares it with the forecast the call sheet went out with. Comparing against the sheet catches a forecast that creeps up a few points at a time, which no single half-hour check would trip on.
The Alert Strip
Findings show above the chart on that day's card in the Weather tab, one per box, with the hours they cover. Click one and those hours are shaded on the chart below. Severe findings are marked separately. Those also went out by text. Mark as seen dims a finding. The Alerts button at the top of the tab carries a count of the ones nobody has marked.
Two Tiers
Alerts come in two strengths, each with its own thresholds in the settings.

Settings
Alerts opens the settings from the Weather tab. The same panel sits in Globals. They belong to the production, so one show's thresholds do not follow you to the next unless you save them as your default.
- Watch the forecast on shoot days turns the whole thing on or off
- When to watch: Start when the call sheet is sent, a lead time before crew call for days the sheet has not gone out on, how long to keep watching after wrap, and how often to check
- Assumed day length stands in for wrap on a sheet with no wrap time yet
- Severe weather (text message) has its own switch, so you can keep push and drop the texts
- Who gets the text: Production departments (Production and Production Office by default) or A list I choose. Leave the director out is ticked by default
- People with no phone number are listed, so you can see who the text will miss
Check Now
An empty strip means either nothing has changed or nothing has been checked yet. Check now, at the bottom of the settings dialog, checks the selected day against its call sheet forecast immediately and tells you which it is. Any changes it finds are notified the same way a scheduled check would.
Notifications on This Device
Push is per device. Turn it on separately on your laptop and your phone. The settings panel shows the state of the device you are on. Turn on asks the browser for permission. Once it is on, Send test fires a notification so you know it arrives. A notification opens the Weather tab on the day, with the hours that moved picked out on the chart.
Live Radar
Each day card has two views: Hourly and Live Radar. Radar shows the area around that day's basecamp from an hour ago to four hours ahead. Rain sits above the map and wind below it, on the same timeline, and dragging either one moves the map to that moment. Play runs the loop. The wind strip is shaded at 12, 18 and 25 mph, the usual limits for flying a 20x20, a 12x12 and a 6x6 overhead. Where the provider has minute-by-minute data, the next hour of rain is drawn at that resolution.
