Get your schedule out of Movie Magic and into an open format.
The Universal Scheduling Standard (USS) is an open, license-free file format for schedule and breakdown data. ThinkCrew created it; ThinkCrew is the scheduling company founded and run by Michael Williams, one of the original creators of Casper. Movie Magic Scheduling does not export USS. G-Casper Pro reads the PDFs Movie Magic prints and can turn them into a USS file, and it writes USS from any production you run in it.
USS import and export come with every plan. The converter is priced per conversion.
Export USS From Any Production
Open Export on the Days tab and USS sits next to Excel and CSV. The Breakdown tab offers it next to Excel. Two boxes decide what goes in, Schedule and Breakdown, and both start ticked. The preview counts the scenes, pages, days and elements before you download, and splits the scenes into INT and EXT, day and night. The file is USS version 1.1.0: scenes with their cast, 18 breakdown categories from props to picture vehicles, banners, off days and the order of scenes on each day. Crew and cast contact details, call sheets, BG lists and production reports stay out of it.

}The Movie Magic to USS Converter
The Schedule Converter takes the two PDFs Movie Magic Scheduling 6 or 10 prints, the shooting schedule and the breakdown sheets, and reads them into a schedule you can check before anything is written. The review shows shoot days, scenes, cast and elements, with coverage figures for the fields it found. From there you pick one of two ways out. Convert downloads a USS file and an Excel workbook with Days Schedule, Breakdown and Project Info sheets that opens in Google Sheets. Create Production builds the show in G-Casper Pro instead, at the normal shoot-day pricing. Every conversion stays in your history, source PDFs included, so you can download any of it again. It will not read a password-protected PDF.
Conversions are priced by shoot days: $12 up to 10 days, rising to $29 at 100 days and flat after that. Beta testers convert free during the beta.

USS In, USS Back Out
The Import page reads USS files on its ThinkCrew tab, as .uss or .json, alongside Movie Magic PDFs and G-Casper or Casper Excel. So a schedule can come in from ThinkCrew, change during prep in G-Casper Pro, and go back out as USS. How much of the file another tool reads is up to that tool. The format itself is published, and anyone can build on it.
