What You Get
The Schedule Converter takes two PDFs exported from Movie Magic Scheduling 6 or 10 and produces two files: a USS file and an Excel workbook. Both download when the conversion finishes. USS is an open schedule format that ThinkCrew, Cinapse and other production tools read. The Excel workbook holds a Days Schedule sheet, a Breakdown sheet and a Project Info sheet, and opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
The Two Input PDFs
The converter reads two reports built into Movie Magic, the Shooting Schedule and the Breakdown Sheet. Nothing needs installing in Movie Magic.

The USS File
The USS file holds the schedule and breakdown: scenes, shoot days, cast, locations and element categories. Import it into G-Casper Pro to build call sheets, open it in ThinkCrew to keep scheduling, or hand it to another AD.
The Excel Workbook
The Excel workbook has two sheets: Days Schedule and Breakdown. The Days Schedule sheet lists every scene in shooting order, grouped by shoot day, with scene number, description, location, INT/EXT, Day/Night, page count, and cast. The Breakdown sheet has one row per scene, with a column for each element category. The workbook opens in Google Sheets as it is. Your Conversion History
Every completed conversion is saved to your Conversion History on the Schedule Converter page. Re-download the USS file, Excel workbook, Shooting Schedule PDF or Breakdown PDF from there.
