The Problem No One Else Solved
Most call sheet tools make you build each day's call sheet from scratch, one day at a time. On a 30-day shoot, that means repeating the same setup process 30 times. ADs deserve better than busywork.
How It Works
When you import a schedule from Movie Magic (via PDF reports) or ThinkCrew (via USS), G-Casper Pro reads the full multi-day breakdown and generates a complete call sheet for every shoot day in a single pass:
- Import your schedule (Movie Magic PDFs, ThinkCrew USS, or Excel)
- G-Casper Pro parses every shoot day, scene assignment, and cast day
- Individual call sheets are created for each day with scenes, cast, and banner strips pre-populated
- Each call sheet inherits your production header, crew list, and formatting preferences
- Review and fine-tune any day - all data is editable after generation
What Gets Auto-Populated
Each generated call sheet includes everything the system can infer from your schedule data:
| Data | Source | Editable After Import |
|---|---|---|
| Scenes & scene order | Schedule file | Yes |
| Cast assignments per scene | Schedule file | Yes |
| Scene descriptions & locations | Schedule file | Yes |
| Banner strips (INT/EXT, D/N, location) | Schedule file | Yes |
| Day number & shoot date | Schedule file | Yes |
| Production header & contacts | Your production settings | Yes |
| Crew list | Your production crew list | Yes |
Time Saved
On a typical 25-day indie feature, ADs spend roughly 15-20 minutes setting up each call sheet manually. Multi-day generation removes that entirely, creating all 25 call sheets in under 30 seconds. That is over 6 hours of setup work eliminated before you have even started fine-tuning.
