From Schedule to Call Sheet in Seconds
In traditional call sheet software, you import your schedule and then manually create banner strips for each scene. G-Casper Pro cuts that step entirely. When you import a schedule file, banner strips are generated automatically for every scene on every shoot day, complete with INT/EXT designation, Day/Night, location, page count, and the G-Matrix color coding.
Automatic Non-Scene Banners
G-Casper Pro imports both scene strips and non-scene banners directly from your schedule. Banners like Lunch, Company Move, Setup, Travel, and Back In are extracted and placed in the correct position on your call sheet, exactly as they appear in your shooting schedule. In a typical workflow, ADs import their schedule and then manually re-create every company move, lunch break, and travel banner by hand on the call sheet. G-Casper Pro handles all of it automatically, saving significant time and removing errors from manual re-entry.
What Gets Extracted
Each banner strip is built from the scene data in your schedule file:
- Scene number and any suffixes (A, B, etc.)
- INT/EXT designation with automatic G-Matrix color assignment
- Day/Night/Morning/Evening with matching color code
- Full scene description and location name
- Page count in industry-standard eighths format
- Cast member IDs linked to each scene
- Non-scene banners: Lunch, Company Move, Setup, Travel, Back In, and other production events
Fully Editable
Auto-generated strips are a starting point for your judgment. You can reorder scenes, edit descriptions, change color assignments, add or remove cast, and adjust page counts. Non-scene banners can also be edited, repositioned, or removed. The system handles the data entry so you can focus on the decisions that require your judgment.
