Three Plans
Each plan is the one below it plus something.
| Plan | For | Adds |
|---|---|---|
| AD | 1st and 2nd ADs running the floor | Call sheets, DOOD, Exhibit G, imports, distribution |
| Producer | Producers, UPMs and coordinators | Hot costs, burn rate, DOOD pay columns, producer dashboard |
| Company | Production companies running distant locations | Lodging, Transpo, granular payroll tracking |
The Show Runs on the Owner's Plan
A production is provisioned once, by whoever created it, and billed to their account. Everyone invited onto that show works inside what the owner pays for. Somebody with an AD plan of their own who is invited onto a Company show opens Lodging and Transpo there, and their own plan decides nothing about it.
Two Different Locks
A padlock means one of two things, and the difference decides who can fix it.
| What you see | What is short | Who fixes it |
|---|---|---|
| Not on this plan | The show itself is not provisioned for the feature | The owner, by changing the plan |
| Ask for access | The show has it and you were invited at AD level | The owner, from the Share panel, for free |
Adds the money side: hot costs, burn rate, and pay data across the show.
The floor view. No money.
| Feature | Tab | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Call sheets, front and back | CS Front, CS Back | Open |
| Crew, cast and BG DOOD | Crew, Cast, Background | Open |
| SAG Exhibit G | Exhibit G | Open |
| SMS and email distribution | CS Front | Open |
| Hot Costs | Hot Costs | Ask for access |
| Burn Rate | Burn Rate | Ask for access |
| DOOD pay columns | Crew DOOD | Ask for access |
| Lodging | Lodging | Not on this plan |
| Transpo | Transpo | Not on this plan |
Asking the Owner
Both walls carry a button that sends the owner a note. Ask Access asks them to raise your level on this show, which costs nothing and takes them two clicks. Ask Plan tells them a member of their show ran into the plan. Neither one buys anything on your behalf.
Financial Features Stay With the Grant
Hot costs, burn rate and pay data are always decided by the level a person was invited at. A Company plan does not open them for an AD-level member, and it is not meant to. Money is the one thing a share deliberately withholds.
Viewing as an AD
Producers can look at the show the way the floor sees it. Switch to View as AD and every producer surface disappears until you switch back. It only ever takes access away, so nobody can use it to reach something they do not hold.
Read-Only Accounts
AD Read Only and Producer Read Only sit at their base tier with writing removed. They exist for people who need to watch a show without touching it. An account in that state can open everything its tier carries and change none of it.
