What Ghost Mode Does
Ghost Mode is a toggle on your call sheet. When you turn it on, G-Casper Pro replaces all sensitive details with generic placeholders. Real crew names become 'Crew Member.' Cast names become 'Cast Member 1, Cast Member 2, Cast Member 3.' Phone numbers are masked. Location addresses are replaced with 'Location Address.' The production title shows as 'Production Title.' What stays visible: call times, scene numbers, page counts, department names, and the full page layout. The structure of your call sheet is intact. Anyone looking at a Ghost Mode version sees exactly how you organized the day, without seeing who is in it.
Who Ghost Mode Is For
2nd ADs use Ghost Mode most. Call sheet work is real production craft. A well-organized call sheet shows your judgment on cast order, department sequencing, scene flow, and special instructions. Ghost Mode lets you show that work to a producer or department head who is considering hiring you, without breaking the confidentiality of the production that trusted you. Other situations where Ghost Mode helps:
- Job interviews: share a real call sheet sample without exposing crew data
- Portfolio websites: post call sheet screenshots that showcase your formatting and organization
- Conference presentations or panel discussions on AD workflows
- Training new 2nd ADs on a real call sheet layout without exposing live production data
- Social media posts showing behind-the-scenes production work
How to Activate Ghost Mode
Find the ghost icon in the floating controls bar on the call sheet tab. Tap it to turn Ghost Mode on. A purple tint appears across the interface so you always know redaction is active. Tap it again to turn it off. Ghost Mode does not change any data stored in your production. Turning it off restores the real data immediately.
Sharing a Ghost Mode Version
To share a Ghost Mode version of your call sheet, turn Ghost Mode on and then generate a PDF. The PDF shows the redacted placeholders. Send that file to whoever you want to share your work with. You can also take screenshots while Ghost Mode is active. Those screenshots are safe to post publicly because all sensitive details are removed. Sending a call sheet via SMS to your crew always sends the real data. Ghost Mode is a local display filter on your screen. It does not affect what your crew sees through their links.
What Gets Redacted
Ghost Mode replaces the following with generic placeholders:
- Crew member names and titles
- Cast member names and character names
- Phone numbers and email addresses
- Production title and company name
- Director, producer, and UPM names
- Location addresses
