What Are Account Preferences?
Account preferences are global settings that apply as defaults whenever you create a new production. Instead of configuring the same email templates, SMS options, and layout preferences for every production, you set them once and they are automatically applied. This saves time and keeps your productions consistent.
Accessing Preferences
Navigate to the Preferences page from the sidebar menu or go directly to /app/preferences. The page organizes your settings into clear sections so you can find and update any default quickly.
Available Settings
The Preferences page lets you configure defaults across several categories:
| Category | Settings |
|---|---|
| Email Templates | Default subject lines, reply-to addresses, and email body templates |
| SMS Configuration | Default SMS from number, opt-in message text, and distribution settings |
| Mobile Layout | Default zoom level, pinch-to-zoom behavior, and mobile-specific display options |
| Production Defaults | Default page size, time format, and call time increment settings |
How Defaults Apply
When you create a new production, the system pre-populates its settings with your saved preferences. You can override any default on a per-production basis without affecting your global preferences or other productions. Preferences work as a starting template that you can customize for each individual production.
