Google Sign-In

G-Casper Pro supports signing in with your Google account. Click the 'Sign in with Google' button on the login page to authenticate through Google's secure flow. If you don't already have a G-Casper Pro account, one is created automatically and assigned the beta tester role so you can start using the app immediately.

Account Linking

If you already have a G-Casper Pro account, signing in with Google will automatically link your Google account to your existing profile by matching your email address. All your productions, crew data, and settings remain intact. You can continue signing in with either your password or your Google account after linking.

Security & Connections

Manage your Google connection from the Security & Connections tab on your Profile page. This tab shows whether your Google account is connected, the email address associated with it, and gives you the option to disconnect at any time. Your Google credentials are never stored directly; G-Casper Pro only retains the tokens needed to access approved Google services.

Tip: Navigate to Profile > Security & Connections to view and manage all connected accounts.

Google Sheets Export

Once your Google account is connected, you can export breakdown data directly to a Google Sheet. The system creates or updates a spreadsheet linked to your production, preserving the sheet ID so future exports update the same document. The required scopes include access to Google Spreadsheets and the drive.file scope for creating new sheets.

  • Connect your Google account from Profile > Security & Connections
  • Navigate to the Breakdown tab of your production
  • Click the Google Sheets export button
  • The spreadsheet opens automatically in a new tab

Disconnecting Google

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the Security & Connections tab. Disconnecting revokes the stored tokens and removes Google as a sign-in option. Your G-Casper Pro account and all production data remain completely unaffected. You can reconnect later by signing in with Google again.
