Opening the Command Palette
Press Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux or Cmd+K on Mac to open the command palette from anywhere in the application. A search dialog appears at the top of the screen where you can start typing immediately. The palette closes when you select a result or press Escape.
Tip: The command palette works on any page, from inside a production to the home dashboard.
What You Can Do
The command palette searches across multiple areas of the application and displays results grouped by category:
- Navigate to any production tab (CS Front, CS Back, Crew, Cast, Breakdown, Days, etc.)
- Switch between productions from the My Productions list
- Jump to account pages like Profile, Preferences, Billing, and Shares
- Search help articles and open them directly from results
- Access features like Import, Rewards, and Support
Tips for Power Users
Type at least two characters to trigger the search. Results are ranked by relevance, with exact matches on titles and labels scored highest. The palette remembers your current production context, so tab navigation commands take you to the correct production automatically. You can also search for help articles by topic to find answers without leaving your workflow.
