IATSE Safety Bulletins
Safety Bulletins are researched, written, and distributed by the Industry-Wide Labor-Management Safety Committee for the motion picture and television industry. They are guidelines (not binding laws) recommended by the Safety Committee, covering everything from firearms to weather to electrical equipment.
Safety Bulletins are commonly referenced in the Notices section of a Call Sheet Front. When a day's work involves specific hazards — firearms, stunts, water, helicopters, extreme weather, pyrotechnics, etc. — the relevant bulletin numbers are listed in the notices so every crew member is aware of the applicable safety guidelines.
All bulletins are published by the CSATF (Contract Services Administration Trust Fund) and are available as free PDFs. View on CSATF.org
