Accessing the Column Manager

Every table section on the call sheet has a small pencil icon in its header area. Hover over the section header (or tap on mobile) to reveal the pencil icon. Click it to open the Column Manager panel for that section. On mobile, a long-press on the section header also opens the manager.

Supported Sections

The Column Manager is available on four sections of the call sheet:

  • Scene Schedule: Control which scene detail columns appear (scene number, cast, D/N, pages, location, description, and more)
  • Cast: Manage which columns show in the cast table. Cast uses its own inline editor variant
  • BG / Stand-ins: Customize the background and stand-in table columns
  • Advance Schedule: Configure columns for the advance schedule section
Tip: Each section stores its own independent column configuration. Changes to the Scene Schedule columns do not affect the Cast columns.

Show and Hide Columns

Each column in the manager has an eye icon. Click it to toggle visibility. Hidden columns disappear from the printed call sheet and the on-screen view. This is useful for removing columns that your production does not use, like VEHICLES on a studio show or SET on a location-only production.

Drag to Reorder

Grab the grip handle on any column row and drag it up or down to change the column order. The table updates in real time as you reorder. This lets you put the most important columns first without being locked into a fixed layout.

Rename Columns

Double-click any column name in the manager to rename it. Type the new name and press Enter to confirm, or Escape to cancel. Renames are stored with the call sheet, so your custom labels persist across sessions and appear on printed PDFs.

Custom Columns

At the bottom of the Column Manager panel, there is an input field for adding custom columns. Type a name and click Add. The new column appears in the table with empty cells that you can fill in per row. Custom columns are marked with a visual indicator so you can distinguish them from built-in columns.

How Configurations Are Stored

Column configurations are saved with each call sheet. Each call sheet can have a different column layout, and your column settings carry over when you print or export.
