Two Ways to See Your Schedule
G-Casper Pro offers two views of your shooting schedule: the traditional Stripboard for detailed scene-level work, and a Calendar view for the big picture. Both show the same data, and changes in one appear instantly in the other.
The Stripboard View
Each scene is represented as a horizontal strip with color coding:
| Stripboard Element | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Scene Number | The script scene number |
| Scene Description | Brief description of the action |
| INT/EXT | Interior or Exterior |
| D/N | Day or Night |
| Page Count | Length in script eighths |
| Cast Members | Which cast appear in the scene |
| Location | Where the scene is shot |
| Day Break | Visual separator between shoot days |
Reordering Scenes
Drag and drop to reorder your schedule:
- Click and hold any scene strip
- Drag it to the new position
- Drop it where you want it scheduled
- Day breaks automatically adjust as needed

Day Breaks and Scheduling
Day breaks divide your schedule into shoot days. To manage day breaks:
- Double-click between scenes to insert a day break
- Drag a day break up or down to adjust day lengths
- Right-click a day break for options (delete, set date, add notes)
- Page counts automatically tally for each day
The Calendar View
The calendar view presents your shoot days in a familiar monthly grid:
| Calendar Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Shoot Days | Highlighted with day number and total pages |
| Prep/Wrap Days | Shown in a different color |
| Holidays/Dark Days | Clearly marked as non-shoot days |
| Location Notes | Brief location info visible on hover |
| Weather Icons | Forecast for each upcoming shoot day |
Syncing Views
Both views show the same underlying schedule. Changes in one immediately reflect in the other. Use stripboard for scene-level work and calendar for spotting date conflicts.
