What Are Info Boxes?

Info Boxes are draggable, resizable rich-text overlays that you can place anywhere on the Call Sheet Front or Back. They print exactly where you put them. Use them for safety notices, wardrobe notes, EPK announcements, parking instructions, or anything that needs to stand out on the page.

Adding an Info Box

Open the floating controls bar at the bottom of the CS Front or CS Back tab and click 'Add Info Box.' A new box appears on the page, ready to edit. You can also choose from a template to start with pre-written content.

Formatting Options

Each Info Box is a full rich-text editor with per-word formatting:

  • Font family, font size, and font color per word or selection
  • Bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough
  • Text alignment: left, center, right
  • Bullet lists and numbered lists
  • Inline image insertion
  • Background color picker with opacity control
  • Border radius adjustment for rounded or sharp corners
  • Soft drop shadow

Positioning and Sizing

Drag an Info Box by its top handle to move it anywhere on the call sheet. Resize by dragging any edge or corner. The box maintains its position relative to the page, so what you see on screen is what prints on paper. Z-index controls let you layer multiple boxes if they overlap.

Drag from the top-left handle to reposition. Resize from the bottom-right corner. Click to select, then click into the text to edit it. Use the toolbar to lock or duplicate.

Lock, Duplicate, and Delete

Lock an Info Box to prevent accidental moves or edits. The lock icon appears on locked boxes as a visual indicator. Duplicate a box to create a copy with the same formatting and content, offset slightly so you can see both. Delete a box with the X button when selected.

Built-In Templates

G-Casper Pro includes 10 production templates that cover the most common call sheet notices:

Custom Templates

If your production has recurring notices that are not covered by the built-in templates, you can save any Info Box as a custom template. Custom templates are stored at the production level, so everyone on the team can use them. Name your template something descriptive and it appears in the template picker alongside the built-ins.
