Built-In Compliance Intelligence
Getting call times wrong for SAG performers or minors can mean costly penalties, production shutdowns, or worse. G-Casper Pro has a compliance engine built directly into the call sheet workflow because this responsibility should not fall on mental math and sticky notes.
How SAG Auto-Drafting Works
When you set your general crew call time and assign cast to scenes, G-Casper Pro automatically drafts suggested call and wrap times for every performer:
- The system calculates each performer's first scene based on the shooting order
- It factors in prep time (hair, makeup, wardrobe) based on role type
- A suggested call time is generated so the performer is camera-ready when needed
- Wrap times are drafted based on their last scene, respecting SAG 12-hour maximums
- You review the drafts and accept, adjust, or override any suggestion
Minor Work Hour Protection
For minor performers, the system applies age-specific labor restrictions automatically:
| Age Group | Max Work Hours | Required Breaks | School Hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 6 | 6 hours | Rest every 2 hours | N/A |
| 6-8 years | 8 hours | 1 hour rest, meals | 3 hours (school year) |
| 9-13 years | 9 hours | 1 hour rest, meals | 3 hours (school year) |
| 14-15 years | 10 hours | 1 hour rest, meals | 3 hours (school year) |
| 16-17 years | 10 hours | Standard meals | 3 hours (school year) |
The Accept-or-Adjust Workflow
Auto-drafted times are suggestions, not mandates. The AD retains full control. Each drafted time shows the reasoning behind it: what scenes drive that call, what prep time is assumed, what labor rule applies. You can accept all drafts with one click, or fine-tune individual performers.
